R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Bobbi Arthur is being recognized for her 30 years of
  dedicated service as supervisor of the Haltom City Senior Center in
  2023; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Arthur first joined the Haltom City Senior
  Center in April 1993, and over the course of her tenure, she has
  worked tirelessly to promote awareness of the center's programs
  and the many resources available to older adults and their families
  in Tarrant County; under her leadership, the facility offers a wide
  variety of classes and activities, including art and fitness
  classes, as well as meals Monday through Friday; it also hosts
  special events and holiday celebrations throughout the year; and
         WHEREAS, Active in her professional community, Mrs. Arthur
  has served on the Texas Association of Aging Programs board, the
  Area Agency on Aging of Tarrant County board, the Haltom City Senior
  Task Force, and the Haltom City Volunteer Service Board; moreover,
  she chaired the 2009 Texas Conference on Aging, and she also helped
  establish the Northeast Senior Jamboree and the social
  transportation program, Friends Helping Friends; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Arthur began her career as a nurse's aide at a
  nursing home in Lake Milton, Ohio, in 1979, shortly after
  graduating from high school; she moved to Texas in 1981 and earned
  certification as a nursing home activity director through Tarrant
  County College, and she worked as a nursing home activity and social
  services coordinator for more than a decade before joining the
  Haltom City center; in all her endeavors, she enjoys the love and
  support of her husband, Delbert, as well as her three daughters,
  Tiffany, Lisa, and Amy, and her five grandchildren, Robert, Kaia,
  Casio, Covie, and Sophie; and
         WHEREAS, Passionate about helping make the lives of area
  seniors happier and healthier, Bobbi Arthur has had a positive and
  lasting impact in her community, and she may reflect with pride on
  her many accomplishments as she celebrates this special milestone
  in her career; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Bobbi Arthur for her three decades of
  outstanding service to the Haltom City Senior Center and extend to
  her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mrs. Arthur as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
