R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Luis of the Tuloso-Midway Independent School |
|
|
District received a 2023 Women in Education Award from the |
|
|
Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in |
|
|
Education event on March 29; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A second-grade teacher at Tuloso-Midway Primary |
|
|
School, Ms. Luis has been with the district for five years; in the |
|
|
classroom, she strives to create a learning environment in which |
|
|
her students can excel academically, as well as learn valuable life |
|
|
lessons; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Luis has set an outstanding example of |
|
|
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah Luis on her receipt of a 2023 |
|
|
Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in her |
|
|
important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Luis as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
