R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Emma Claire White has ably served her fellow Texans |
|
|
as an intern in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson |
|
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in January 2023, Ms. White |
|
|
has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of |
|
|
challenging tasks, including researching legislation, |
|
|
corresponding with constituents, and attending hearings; in |
|
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin, |
|
|
Ms. White is currently studying political science and government in |
|
|
the Liberal Arts Honors Program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Emma Claire White has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Emma Claire White for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Ann |
|
|
Johnson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. White as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
