R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cameron James Atkins graduated from the Abilene |
|
|
Police Academy on March 2, 2023, and it is fitting that he be |
|
|
recognized for his commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being |
|
|
of his fellow Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After undergoing training and successfully |
|
|
graduating as a member of Police Training Class No. 60, Mr. Atkins |
|
|
was sworn in as an officer of the Abilene Police Department with |
|
|
Badge No. 1330, joining the ranks of men and women who dedicate |
|
|
themselves to protecting the lives and property of Abilene |
|
|
residents; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By taking his oath of duty, Officer Cameron Atkins |
|
|
is carrying on the department's proud tradition of service to the |
|
|
community, and he is to be commended for devoting himself to this |
|
|
challenging yet vital profession; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cameron James Atkins on his |
|
|
graduation from the Abilene Police Academy and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer Atkins as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
