R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
WHEREAS, Genyva Salas Monjaras was honored by the City of |
|
|
Edcouch as part of the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The From the Delta, With Love program highlights |
|
|
musicians and other artists who have contributed to the vibrant |
|
|
culture of the Delta area; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Genyva Salas Monjaras is furthering an impressive |
|
|
legacy of artistic achievement in the Lone Star State, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to join in recognizing her for her exceptional talent; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Genyva Salas Monjaras on being |
|
|
honored at the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Salas Monjaras as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
