R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Rhayne Trahan has ably served her fellow Texans as
  an aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner during
  the 88th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Trahan joined the staff as a participant in the
  Bob Bullock Scholars Program of Baylor University; during her time
  at the State Capitol, she has provided vital assistance in handling
  a wide variety of challenging tasks, including research and
  analysis of legislation relating to criminal justice, veterans
  affairs, and the safety of individuals with intellectual and
  developmental disabilities; in addition to gaining valuable
  experience in the field of public service, she has learned more
  about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the
  Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Trahan is a student at Baylor University, and
  she holds an associate's degree from McLennan Community College;
  she has previously served as a community assistant for American
  Campus Communities and as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity,
  Food for Families, and President Joe Biden's presidential campaign;
  in addition, she helped to establish an annual suicide prevention
  awareness walk at Stephen F. Austin State University; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Trahan has performed her duties as a legislative
  aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of
  special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Rhayne Trahan for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Trahan as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
