R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Katherine Sarahan has ably served her fellow Texans
  as an aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner during
  the 88th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Sarahan has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  which have included conducting legislative research, assisting
  with office communications, and helping track bills regarding
  energy, the environment, transportation, and housing; in addition
  to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she
  has learned more about the legislative process and the issues
  facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Sarahan is currently pursuing a degree in
  political science and Spanish at Southwestern University, and she
  is set to graduate in May 2023; she previously completed an
  internship with U.S. Congress member Lloyd Doggett and was a fellow
  for the Watson Eckhardt Organizing Academy; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Katherine Sarahan for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Sarahan as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
