R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Century 21 Bill Bartlett is celebrating the 50th |
|
anniversary of its founding in September 2023; and |
|
WHEREAS, The company traces its origins to 1973, when Bill |
|
Bartlett concluded his career with a life insurance agency to |
|
establish a real estate office in Belton; the business moved to |
|
Salado in 1982, and a decade later, it joined Century 21; since its |
|
inception, the firm has served the real estate needs of more than |
|
8,000 families; and |
|
WHEREAS, Century 21 Bill Bartlett has received the Century 21 |
|
Per Person Productivity Award each year for more than a decade, and |
|
it was named Business of the Year in 2014; dedicated to serving the |
|
wider community, the company has been involved in a number of area |
|
events, such as the Salado Christmas parade, Operation Friends |
|
Feeding Friends, Community Shred Day, and food and school supply |
|
drives; and |
|
WHEREAS, Today, the company is composed of eight |
|
professionals, including founder Bill Bartlett, who has further |
|
distinguished himself through his contributions to numerous local |
|
boards and organizations; over the years, he has given generously |
|
of his time and expertise to the Salado Independent School District |
|
Board of Trustees, the Temple-Belton Board of Realtors, the boards |
|
of local banks, and other civic groups; in addition, he and his |
|
family were inducted into the Salado Hall of Fame in 2009; and |
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of five decades, Century 21 Bill |
|
Bartlett has earned the loyalty of many area Texans, and all those |
|
associated with the company may indeed reflect with pride on their |
|
accomplishments as they celebrate this special milestone; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of Century 21 |
|
Bill Bartlett and extend to the business's owner, agents, and staff |
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
