R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center has been |
|
|
recognized by the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce as its Member of |
|
|
the Month for May 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Run exclusively by volunteers, the Mid Chambers |
|
|
Christian Caring Center serves residents of Anahuac and Chambers |
|
|
County through a variety of community initiatives; among its many |
|
|
contributions, the nonprofit has helped feed individuals facing |
|
|
food insecurity with its food pantry program, and it has |
|
|
distributed more than $15,000 in scholarships to students in the |
|
|
Anahuac Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center has made a |
|
|
positive difference in the lives of numerous people in Anahuac and |
|
|
beyond, and the organization is indeed deserving of recognition for |
|
|
its commendable efforts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Mid Chambers Christian Caring |
|
|
Center on being named the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce Member of |
|
|
the Month for May 2023 and extend to all those associated with the |
|
|
organization sincere best wishes for continued success with their |
|
|
important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
