R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Irene Ramos received a 2023 Women in Education Award |
|
|
from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women |
|
|
in Education event on March 29; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since 2018, Ms. Ramos has served as program manager |
|
|
for ESC-2 Crossroads Adult Education and Literacy; passionate about |
|
|
adult education and its positive impact in the community, she has |
|
|
worked in that field for more than 25 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Irene Ramos has set an outstanding example of |
|
|
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Irene Ramos on her receipt of a |
|
|
2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center |
|
|
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ramos as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
