R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Kent Ninomiya has distinguished himself in his
  responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
  Representative Trey Martinez Fischer during the 88th Legislative
  Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Ninomiya has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, An honors student, Mr. Ninomiya is graduating from
  The University of Texas at Austin in May 2023 with a history and
  government degree; this summer, he plans to work for U.S. Senator
  Michael Bennet, and in fall 2023, he will begin his graduate studies
  at Columbia University; he is the recipient of a Mike A. Myers
  Foundation Scholarship, a UT Government Department Scholarship,
  and a U.S. Department of Education grant to study foreign
  languages; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Ninomiya completed an internship with the
  campaign team of Texas lieutenant governor candidate Mike Collier,
  and he worked as a legal assistant for Ninomiya Law in Round Rock;
  dedicated to helping his fellow citizens, he volunteers in numerous
  capacities, and in 2022, he launched a fundraiser to support
  Ukrainian refugees; moreover, he has served as a volunteer with
  Goodwill Central Texas of Cedar Park and as an elementary school
  tutor and volunteer; and
         WHEREAS, Kent Ninomiya has performed his duties as a
  legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Kent Ninomiya for his service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Trey
  Martinez Fischer and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Ninomiya as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
