R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Eric Hale has distinguished himself in his |
|
responsibilities as a policy aide in the office of State |
|
Representative Claudia Ordaz during the 88th Legislative Session; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Hale has provided vital |
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
including contributing to work on bills relating to predatory |
|
lending practices, animal welfare, firearm safety, and public |
|
education; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field |
|
of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, |
|
including the constituents of House District 79; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hale earned his bachelor's degree from Elon |
|
University, and he graduated from The University of Texas at Austin |
|
with a master's degree in educational leadership and policy on |
|
May 6, 2023; while at UT, he worked for University Housing and |
|
Dining as a graduate assistant for resident curriculum and as an |
|
assistant community coordinator, and he also previously served as a |
|
research technician for REACH and as a policy advisor and volunteer |
|
coordinator for a congressional campaign; furthermore, he taught |
|
first and third grade in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and he served |
|
as a curriculum coordinator and teacher in Seoul, South Korea, from |
|
2013 to 2015; and |
|
WHEREAS, Eric Hale has performed his duties as a policy aide |
|
with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of |
|
recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Eric Hale for his service as a policy |
|
aide in the office of State Representative Claudia Ordaz and extend |
|
to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his |
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Hale as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
