R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Leonard and Martha |
|
|
Evans are celebrating this joyous milestone in their marriage on |
|
|
May 25, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Valued residents of Ovilla, "Junior" and Martha |
|
|
Evans were joined in matrimony in 1973; over the years, the couple |
|
|
have shared many precious moments with their family and friends, |
|
|
and they have met life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Evans have enjoyed five decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Leonard and Martha Evans and extend |
|
|
to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Evans as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
