R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Emma Edwards of Chambers County has been |
|
|
selected as one of the "44 Under 40" honorees for 2023 by the |
|
|
Baytown Sun; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Baytown Sun recognizes the |
|
|
achievements of dynamic young leaders under the age of 40 who have |
|
|
distinguished themselves in their professions and in their |
|
|
contributions to the community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Currently, Dr. Edwards is employed as an associate |
|
|
chiropractor for Mont Belvieu Family Wellness; she holds a degree |
|
|
in exercise science and fitness management from Lamar University |
|
|
and a doctoral degree from Texas Chiropractic College; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Emma Edwards has set an outstanding example of |
|
|
leadership in her field and in her community, and she is sure to |
|
|
make further contributions to the Baytown area in the years ahead; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Emma Edwards on her selection |
|
|
as one of the "44 Under 40" honorees by the Baytown Sun and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Edwards as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
