R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Esmeralda Ledezma has ably served her fellow Texans |
|
|
as an aide in the office of State Representative Armando Walle |
|
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ledezma has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including providing support to the office staff and serving as a |
|
|
scheduler; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field |
|
|
of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A Hobby Fellow, Ms. Ledezma is currently a senior at |
|
|
the University of Houston and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
sociology with a minor in Mexican American Studies; following her |
|
|
graduation, she plans to continue serving the legislature or to |
|
|
work with an advocacy organization; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her contributions; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Esmeralda Ledezma for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Armando |
|
|
Walle and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ledezma as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
