R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Jesha Magee has distinguished herself in her
  responsibilities as a policy analyst in the office of State
  Representative Armando Walle during the 88th Legislative Session;
  and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the Texas
  Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Magee has provided vital
  assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks such as
  preparing analysis of bills relating to licensing, administrative
  procedures, and health care reform, as well as hosting meetings
  with constituents and other stakeholders; in addition to gaining
  valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Magee attends the Thurgood Marshall School of
  Law at Texas Southern University; a member of the Government Law
  Society, she has served as president of the Mindfulness in Law
  Society and as treasurer of the Cannabis Law Student Association,
  and she was recently appointed director of student development and
  wellness for the Student Bar Association; and
         WHEREAS, Jesha Magee has performed her duties as a policy
  analyst with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of
  special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jesha Magee for her service as a policy
  analyst in the office of State Representative Armando Walle and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Magee as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
