R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Texas Products in Royse City has received a 2023 |
|
|
Longhorn 100 award from Texas Exes, providing a fitting opportunity |
|
|
to recognize the company's president, Frank Conselman, for his many |
|
|
achievements; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Longhorn 100 awards honor the top 100 |
|
|
fastest-growing businesses that are founded, owned, or led by |
|
|
alumni of The University of Texas at Austin; this year, Texas |
|
|
Products ranked number 71 on the list; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its inception more than two decades ago, Texas |
|
|
Products has become a leader in providing Texas-themed gifts and |
|
|
souvenirs, and the business benefits from the able guidance of |
|
|
Mr. Conselman; he has further distinguished himself through his |
|
|
involvement with the Rockwall Independent School District Board of |
|
|
Trustees and PTA, and he is also a former president of the board of |
|
|
the Rockwall County YMCA, as well as the Rockwall Rotary Club; among |
|
|
his many honors, he has received the service Above Self Award from |
|
|
the Rockwall Rotary Club and a 2017 Carnegie Hero Medal; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Texas Products stands as an inspiring example of the |
|
|
success that can be realized by hardworking entrepreneurs in the |
|
|
Lone Star State, and Frank Conselman may indeed take pride in his |
|
|
accomplishments over the years; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Texas Products on receiving a 2023 |
|
|
Longhorn 100 award from the Texas Exes and extend to Frank Conselman |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Conselman as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
