R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Officer Peter Fodor is retiring from the Flower |
|
|
Mound Police Department on May 19, 2023, concluding an exemplary |
|
|
career in public service that has spanned two decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the Flower Mound Police Department on |
|
|
May 19, 2003, Officer Fodor has gone above and beyond to help ensure |
|
|
the safety and well-being of area residents; among his many |
|
|
achievements, he has received a number of internal and external |
|
|
commendations, and he was presented with a Police Commendation in |
|
|
recognition of his courageous actions during an officer-involved |
|
|
shooting incident in 2021; he holds intermediate and advanced peace |
|
|
officer proficiency certificates; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Peter Fodor has greatly benefited the citizens of |
|
|
Flower Mound through his skill, integrity, and commitment to public |
|
|
safety, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his contributions as |
|
|
he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Officer Peter Fodor on his |
|
|
retirement from the Flower Mound Police Department and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer Fodor as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
