R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Azul Martinez has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a policy aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Claudia Ordaz during the 88th Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Martinez has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including contributing to bills relating to animal welfare and |
|
|
environmental regulation; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, she has learned more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
|
Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A constituent of House District 79, Ms. Martinez |
|
|
graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2022; she |
|
|
previously worked as a paralegal, and she served as an intern for an |
|
|
El Paso County commissioner; recently, she released two singles |
|
|
entitled "Golden" and "Instrumental Blues"; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Azul Martinez has performed her duties as a policy |
|
|
aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of |
|
|
special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Azul Martinez for her service as a |
|
|
policy aide in the office of State Representative Claudia Ordaz and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Martinez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
