R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Anna Newell has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
chief committee clerk for the House Administration Committee and |
|
|
its chair, State Representative Will Metcalf, during the 88th |
|
|
Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Newell has ably handled |
|
|
a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |
|
|
chief committee clerk with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Anna Newell for her service as chief |
|
|
committee clerk for the House Administration Committee and its |
|
|
chair, State Representative Will Metcalf, and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Newell as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
