R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Alma |
|
|
Delia Perez of Corpus Christi, who passed away on December 3, 2022, |
|
|
at the age of 76; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Antonio and Ramona Ramirez Gonzalez, |
|
|
the former Delia Gonzalez was born in Robstown on December 21, 1945; |
|
|
she grew up with a sister, Adriana, and two brothers, Ruben and |
|
|
Armando; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, She married Arnoldo Perez, and they were blessed |
|
|
with two daughters, Darlene and Sonia, and two sons, Arnold Anthony |
|
|
and Arnoldo; a loving wife and mother, Mrs. Perez devoted herself |
|
|
to her home and family, which eventually grew to include five |
|
|
grandchildren, Mariah, Gabriela, Hannah, Arnold Anthony, and |
|
|
Faith, as well as three great-grandchildren, Jayven, Alani, and |
|
|
Rio; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although Alma Perez will be deeply missed, she has |
|
|
left her family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will |
|
|
forever treasure; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alma Delia Perez and |
|
|
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
|
daughter, Sonia De La Garza, and her husband, Elias; to her son, |
|
|
Arnoldo Perez, and his wife, Martha; to her grandchildren, Mariah |
|
|
Longoria, Gabriela Hernandez and her husband, Joshua, Hannah Pfrang |
|
|
and her husband, Jared, Arnold Anthony Perez, and Faith Chavez; to |
|
|
her great-grandchildren, Jayven Jaramillo, Alani Longoria, and Rio |
|
|
Hernandez; to her brother, Armando Gonzalez, and his wife, Olivia; |
|
|
and to her many other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alma Delia |
|
|
Perez. |
