R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Justin Vargas Gonzales has distinguished himself in |
|
|
his responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Joe Moody during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Vargas Gonzales has |
|
|
provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|
|
tasks such as conducting bill analysis, managing correspondence |
|
|
with constituents, and meeting with advocacy groups; in addition to |
|
|
gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has |
|
|
learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|
|
citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Vargas Gonzales has previously completed |
|
|
internships with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, the |
|
|
Travis County District Attorney's Office, and the offices of State |
|
|
Senator Royce West and State Representative Victoria Neave Criado; |
|
|
he is a government major at The University of Texas at Austin, where |
|
|
he has served as a member of the UT Senate; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Justin Vargas Gonzales has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Justin Vargas Gonzales for his service |
|
|
as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Joe |
|
|
Moody and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Vargas Gonzales as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
