R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Summerlyn Nasser has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as director of communications in the office of |
|
|
State Representative Josey Garcia during the 88th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Nasser's resourcefulness and initiative have |
|
|
earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to |
|
|
carrying forth Representative Garcia's legislative agenda have |
|
|
helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff as a participant in the |
|
|
Texas Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Nasser has assisted with |
|
|
more than 200 pieces of legislation, and she has played an |
|
|
instrumental role in fostering a positive team environment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|
|
duties as director of communications with skill and dedication, and |
|
|
she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Summerlyn Nasser for her service as |
|
|
director of communications in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Josey Garcia and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Nasser as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
