R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Sabrina Page has distinguished herself in her |
|
responsibilities as assistant clerk for the House Criminal |
|
Jurisprudence Committee and its chair, State Representative Joe |
|
Moody, during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Page has provided vital |
|
support in coordinating a wide variety of committee logistics, |
|
including assisting witnesses and staff and preparing for upcoming |
|
hearings; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field |
|
of public service, she has learned more about the nuances involved |
|
in the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Page holds a bachelor's degree from the |
|
University of Washington in Seattle and a master's degree in public |
|
affairs from The University of Texas at Austin Lyndon B. Johnson |
|
School of Public Affairs, where she is a graduate assistant in the |
|
Prison and Jail Innovation Lab; she previously completed an |
|
internship with the Office of Management and Budget, and she has |
|
served as a research analyst for the City of Austin, as well as a |
|
research assistant for the Earthworm Foundation; additionally, she |
|
has worked as a client program specialist at the Davis Wright |
|
Tremaine law firm; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sabrina Page has performed her duties as assistant |
|
clerk with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of |
|
special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Sabrina Page for her service as |
|
assistant clerk for the House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee and |
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Page as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
