R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ana Guel has been named valedictorian of the Class |
|
|
of 2023 at Skyline High School in Dallas, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Guel demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for her hard work, Ms. Guel has gained the opportunity |
|
|
to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on |
|
|
their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Skyline High, Ana Guel has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ana Guel on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the Skyline High School Class of 2023 and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Guel as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
