R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Eric Arec has been named valedictorian of the Class |
|
|
of 2023 at H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, and he indeed |
|
|
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Arec demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for his hard work, Mr. Arec has gained the opportunity |
|
|
to address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on |
|
|
their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Spruce High, Eric Arec has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Eric Arec on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the H. Grady Spruce High School Class of 2023 and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins |
|
|
the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Arec as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
