R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
|
of Wayne Michael Lyssy of Falls City, who passed away on September |
|
|
11, 2022, at the age of 56; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Vincent and Joann Lyssy, Wayne Lyssy was |
|
|
born in Floresville on June 11, 1966, and he grew up with the |
|
|
companionship of two brothers, Darren and Kevin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Lyssy enjoyed a rewarding career with the USDA |
|
|
Farm Service Agency that spanned more than 30 years; active in his |
|
|
community, he gave generously of his time and talents to the Knights |
|
|
of Columbus and the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department, and he |
|
|
previously served as president of the Falls City School Board; in |
|
|
addition, he was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic |
|
|
Church, where he showcased his guitar skills as a member of the |
|
|
choir; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Lyssy benefited from the |
|
|
love and support of his wife of 32 years, Diane, and he took great |
|
|
pride in his children, Jordan, Adam, and Lauren, as well as his |
|
|
grandchild, Avery; in his leisure time, he liked cooking and |
|
|
grilling for his loved ones and fishing on the Texas coast; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to his family, his faith, and his |
|
|
community, Wayne Lyssy earned the lasting respect and admiration of |
|
|
all who were privileged to know him; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Wayne Michael Lyssy |
|
|
and extend sincere sympathy to all who mourn his passing; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Wayne |
|
|
Lyssy. |
