R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Morales has distinguished himself through |
|
his dedicated service as a member of the Eagle Pass Fire Department; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Morales began his career with the department in |
|
May 2010, when he was hired as a part-time emergency medical |
|
technician; in July of the following year, he was promoted to the |
|
position of firefighter/EMT-basic, and he presently holds the title |
|
of firefighter/EMT-paramedic; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Morales has continued his |
|
professional development by earning certifications as a fire |
|
instructor, an emergency medical services instructor, an |
|
intermediate firefighter, and a hazmat technician, and he is also |
|
certified in pre-hospital trauma life support and pediatric |
|
advanced life support; additionally, he is a member of the crisis |
|
intervention stress debriefing team; and |
|
WHEREAS, Highly respected for his expertise and leadership, |
|
Mr. Morales has earned a number of awards, including recognition as |
|
a 2011 Employee of the Quarter, the 2016 Public Safety Division |
|
Employee of the Year, and the 2022 Eagle Pass Fire Department |
|
Employee of the Year; and |
|
WHEREAS, For more than 12 years, Michael Morales has worked |
|
to ensure the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens as a |
|
member of the Eagle Pass Fire Department, and he may reflect with |
|
pride on his outstanding efforts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend firefighter and EMT-paramedic Michael |
|
Morales for his exemplary service to the City of Eagle Pass and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Morales as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
