R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Judy McLeod received the Lifetime Achievement Award
  from the Round Rock Chamber at the organization's annual awards
  banquet on February 15, 2023; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 2002, the Lifetime Achievement Award
  is presented by the chamber to recognize local individuals and
  families who have exemplified leadership, character, and community
  service over the past decade; and
         WHEREAS, A longtime leader in the Round Rock community,
  Ms. McLeod has given generously of her time and talents to numerous
  civic organizations; she was one of the first women to serve on the
  Round Rock Independent School District board of trustees, and she
  has been a member of the boards for the local YMCA, Round Rock
  Woman's Club, Williamson County Symphony Orchestra, and Ascension
  Seton Williamson; in addition, she has distinguished herself
  through her work with the Capital IDEA Williamson County task force
  committee; and
         WHEREAS, Judy McLeod has demonstrated a lasting commitment to
  making Round Rock a better place for all, and in so doing, she has
  earned the deep respect and appreciation of her fellow residents;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Judy McLeod on her receipt of the
  Round Rock Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. McLeod as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
