R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, East/West Manufacturing Enterprises was named the |
|
|
Newcomer of the Year by the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards |
|
|
banquet on February 15, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes local |
|
|
enterprises and business and civic leaders for their outstanding |
|
|
contributions to the Round Rock community and the chamber; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, East/West Manufacturing Enterprises distinguished |
|
|
itself by becoming involved with the chamber and the Round Rock |
|
|
Independent School District within its first year in the community; |
|
|
the company has participated in the chamber's economic and |
|
|
workforce development initiatives, including the Teacher |
|
|
Externship, Momentum, and Coffee Connections programs; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Businesses that employ Texans and that contribute to |
|
|
the local economy are important components of a prosperous future, |
|
|
and this notable accolade is a fitting recognition of the valuable |
|
|
role that East/West Manufacturing Enterprises plays in the Round |
|
|
Rock community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate East/West Manufacturing |
|
|
Enterprises on its selection as the 2023 Newcomer of the Year by the |
|
|
Round Rock Chamber and extend to the company sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for East/West Manufacturing Enterprises as an expression |
|
|
of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
