R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Alfred's Catering was named the Big Boy Hester Small |
|
|
Business of the Year by the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards |
|
|
banquet on February 15, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes local |
|
|
enterprises and business and civic leaders for their outstanding |
|
|
contributions to the Round Rock community and the chamber; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Owned by Alfred Engstrand, this year's Big Boy |
|
|
Hester Small Business of the Year is a full-service catering |
|
|
company that provides food for a wide range of local events, |
|
|
including festivals, corporate events, and chamber functions, and |
|
|
it has given back to the community in myriad ways; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the |
|
|
needs of area residents, and this notable accolade is a fitting |
|
|
recognition of the valued service that Alfred's Catering provides |
|
|
to the Round Rock community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Alfred's Catering on its selection |
|
|
as the 2023 Big Boy Hester Small Business of the Year by the Round |
|
|
Rock Chamber and extend to the company sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Alfred's Catering as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
