R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tammy Young received the Investor of the Year award |
|
|
from the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards banquet on February |
|
|
15, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes an |
|
|
individual who has distinguished himself or herself as a strong |
|
|
advocate for the chamber and who has contributed greatly to the |
|
|
organization's success through involvement in its programs, |
|
|
councils, and events; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Employed with Central Texas Refuse, Ms. Young has |
|
|
given generously of her time, talents, and resources to support the |
|
|
Round Rock Chamber and its various programs, as well as to benefit |
|
|
the local business community; she is an engaged member of the |
|
|
chamber's board of directors and chairs the organization's Business |
|
|
Climate Council; moreover, she assists chamber staff in their |
|
|
efforts to shape public policy, and she tirelessly advocates for |
|
|
the Round Rock community throughout Central Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Tammy Young has demonstrated a lasting commitment to |
|
|
making Round Rock a better place for all, and in so doing, she has |
|
|
earned the deep respect and appreciation of her fellow residents; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Tammy Young on her receipt of the |
|
|
Investor of the Year award from the Round Rock Chamber and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Young as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
