R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center was
  honored as the 2023 Best Place to Work at the Round Rock Chamber's
  annual awards banquet on February 15, 2023; and
         WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes
  deserving businesses, organizations, and individuals for their
  achievements and their contributions to the local community; and
         WHEREAS, Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center was
  founded in 1997 to provide children and families with a safe,
  welcoming place to share their experiences of abuse; the center
  works alongside local law enforcement and the Department of Family
  and Protective Services to ensure the integrity of child abuse
  investigations; in addition to forensic interviews, it offers
  medical examinations, mental health counseling, and other
  education and advocacy services; and
         WHEREAS, Employing a staff of around 30 people, the center
  has earned praise for its positive workplace environment as well as
  its values, culture, community outreach efforts, and employee
  resources; the organization has built a strong track record for
  retaining staff, and it has several internal committees devoted to
  wellness, diversity, and other areas of employee engagement; and
         WHEREAS, Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center has
  furthered its vital mission by nurturing a strong relationship with
  its employees, and in so doing, it has set a commendable example for
  other organizations and businesses; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Williamson County Children's
  Advocacy Center on its selection as the 2023 Best Place to Work by
  the Round Rock Chamber and extend to the center's management and
  staff sincere best wishes for continued success with their
  important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the organization as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
