| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 791.004, Health and Safety Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | ||
| (c) This chapter does not apply to a county courthouse | ||
| located in a county with a population of less than 100,000. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
