R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Frisco Humane Society adopted out its 10,000th
  animal in January 2022, and this milestone provides a fitting
  opportunity to honor this outstanding organization; and
         WHEREAS, Established in the early 2000s, the Frisco Humane
  Society is a nonprofit animal rescue organization that helps
  provide temporary foster care and medical attention to homeless
  animals until permanent homes can be found for them; in addition,
  the organization strives to reduce animal overpopulation, neglect,
  and abuse through spay and neuter programs and education
  initiatives; and
         WHEREAS, The Frisco Humane Society relies on the vital
  contributions of its dedicated volunteers, who have worked
  tirelessly to continue serving the community during the COVID-19
  pandemic; in the future, the organization hopes to broaden its
  impact by finding more local residents who can foster animals
  long-term; and
         WHEREAS, For more than two decades, the Frisco Humane Society
  has greatly benefited the community through its efforts to give
  every animal a chance for a happy life with a loving family, and all
  those associated with the organization may take pride in this
  recent achievement; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature
  hereby congratulate the Frisco Humane Society on adopting out its
  10,000th animal and extend to the organization sincere best wishes
  for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the Frisco Humane Society as an expression of high
  regard by the Texas Senate.
