SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 277
         WHEREAS, Members of the Superintendent's Student Advisory
  Council for the Frisco Independent School District are visiting
  the State Capitol on March 7, 2023; and
 
         WHEREAS, The council was established by former Frisco ISD
  superintendent Dr. Rick Reedy during the 2005-2006 school year
  to provide students with a voice in the operation of the
  district; members of the group are selected by the principals of
  each Frisco ISD high school, providing well-rounded
  representation of the district's high school student body; and
 
         WHEREAS, Among its many accomplishments over the years,
  the council was instrumental in the development of a new policy
  related to student grade point averages in the district; and
 
         WHEREAS, The members of the Superintendent's Student
  Advisory Council have demonstrated initiative, dedication, and a
  commitment to making Frisco ISD the best it can be, and they are
  setting an outstanding example for their peers; now, therefore,
  be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, hereby recognize the members of the Frisco ISD
  Superintendent's Student Advisory Council on the occasion of their
  visit to the State Capitol and extend to them sincere best wishes
  for success in all their future endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for the council as an expression of high regard from the
  Texas Senate.
