R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Peter Christopher Wallace is participating in that |
|
|
joyful occasion with his graduation from Stephen F. Austin High |
|
|
School in Austin on May 30, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will soon |
|
|
go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at Stephen F. |
|
|
Austin High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and |
|
|
experiences that Mr. Wallace has gained there will forever enrich |
|
|
his life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Margaret Frain Wallace and Darrel |
|
|
Wallace, Peter Wallace has distinguished himself as a member of the |
|
|
football and water polo teams at Austin High, and he represented his |
|
|
school in the University Interscholastic League Regional |
|
|
Semi-Finals in water polo, as well as on the All-District 2nd Team; |
|
|
he plans to continue his education at Austin Community College; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby congratulate Peter Christopher Wallace on the occasion of |
|
|
his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Wallace as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
