R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ashley Merz has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Senator Donna Campbell |
|
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Merz has managed such |
|
|
activities as bill analysis, scheduling, and coordination, and her |
|
|
exceptional communication skills have allowed her to effectively |
|
|
engage with stakeholders and build constructive relationships with |
|
|
legislators and staff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her leadership and collaborative approach, |
|
|
Ms. Merz has fostered high morale in a positive work environment, |
|
|
enhancing the productivity of the legislative team; she has set a |
|
|
sterling example through her attention to detail and willingness to |
|
|
go above and beyond, and her contributions to carrying forth |
|
|
Senator Campbell's legislative agenda have helped address issues |
|
|
facing citizens across the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|
|
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she |
|
|
is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby commend Ashley Merz for her service as legislative director |
|
|
in the office of State Senator Donna Campbell and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Merz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
Senate. |
