HB668 by Collier (Relating to the regulation of coin-operated machines.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupation Code to require the comptroller to disclose certain confidential information contained in coin-operated machine licenses or registration certificate applications to law enforcement agencies upon written request from those agencies. The bill would also expand the Comptroller's authority as it relates to tax permits and licenses issued to coin-operated machine operators.
Based on the analysis of the Comptroller of Public Accounts, there would be no significant impact from the implementation of the bill's provisions.
