IN RE:
HB1311 by Dutton (Relating to the locations in which certain knives are prohibited.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would exempt a location-restricted knife from the prohibition of carrying certain weapons at an amusement park or on the premises of a business that derives 51 percent or more of its income from certain alcoholic beverage sales. It is assumed that any fiscal impact and any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.
Local Government Impact
It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
