HB1409 by Orr (Relating to the authority of certain counties to restrict sex offenders from child safety zones in certain portions of the unincorporated area of the county; creating a criminal offense.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create an offense punishable as a Class C misdemeanor. It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant. No other significant fiscal impacts to units of local government are anticipated.
