No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would make an individual serving a sentence for or previously convicted of certain felony assault offenses ineligible for mandatory supervision.
The Office of Court Administration and the Board of Pardons and Paroles anticipate no significant fiscal impact to the state. It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
