No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant. 

The bill would authorize county commissioners courts to license and regulate the operation of poker clubs and to restrict and prohibit the location of poker clubs within certain areas. The bill would
allow a county to impose a fee for certain licenses related to the operation of a poker club and to create civil penalties for certain violations. 

Local Government Impact

There could be an impact to counties related to the licensing and regulation of poker clubs.

It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
