The bill would amend the Election Code related to certain affiliations with political parties. It is assumed that rulemaking required by the Secretary of State in the bill could be conducted with existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated from a modification to local authority relating to the ballot eligibility of certain candidates.
