The bill would establish the period of time for which an individual arrested for certain crimes committed against a child may be held after bond is posted.
The Office of Court Administration anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the state court system.
Local Government Impact
While the fiscal impact to units of local government cannot be determined, establishing a minimum period of detention may result in increased demands upon local correctional resources.
