HB1972 by Campos (Relating to policies and procedures regarding children placed by the Department of Family and Protective Services in a residential treatment center or program.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the court to make certain determinations if a child is placed in a residential treatment center, or if the child is referred to and awaiting placement in a residential treatment center. 

It is assumed that any costs to the Office of Court Administration, the Department of Family and Protective Services, and the Health and Human Services Commission could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
