IN RE:	HB2556 by Oliverson (relating to the licensing and regulation of physician graduates and the authority of an insured to select a physician graduate under the insured's health insurance policy; requiring an occupational license; authorizing fees.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Medical Board to issue a new license type for physician graduates.

Based upon the analysis of the Texas Medical Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Based upon the analysis of the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the fees for the issuance, term, and renewal of the new license type would generate an additional $73,000 in revenue each year.
