No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Transportation Code, Chapter 112, relating to the powers and duties of railroads, by adding an new section to prohibit a railroad company from operating on any part of a rail line in Texas a train that is 8,500 feet in length or longer.

Based on the information provided by TxDOT, no fiscal implication to the state is anticipated.

Local Government Impact
