It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
Schools will need update local policies and begin to measure the amount of marihuana, tetrahydrocannabinols (THC), or cannabinol derivative related to student conduct to determine whether the disciplinary action DAEP placement is mandatory or discretionary. However, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
