No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any fiscal impact, including any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources resulting from the state jail felonies that would be created by the bill, would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

There could be an impact on counties related to retaining certain voter registration applications, developing and maintaining a database of voter registration lists on county websites, and the procedures for reviewing mail ballots, as would be established and revised by the bill. It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement resulting from the state jail felonies that would be created by the bill would not be significant.
